You will be asked to create a user name and a password, which you will need to access your personal information on all visits to the 511GA website or the mobile applications.  All registered user data for My511 Services is managed centrally through the 511GA website, which is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The mobile application does not maintain any registered user data.  When a registered user logs in to My511 Services through the mobile application, the application will access the 511GA website API’s to authenticate the user.

Any personal information you give us will only be used for the purpose of administering My511 Services and conducting 511GA website evaluations, including the use of surveys or questionnaires by the us or our partners. You will not be placed on any mailing lists. Your personal information will not be shared, rented, sold, or otherwise released to any third party without your prior consent, unless required by law.


The 511GA website retains the personal information that you provide for as long as necessary to fulfil the administration of My511 Services. If you decide to delete your My511 Services account, the 511GA website will no longer retain your information.

Registered and non-registered users of the 511GA website and My511 Services are not permitted to modify, duplicate, or otherwise use the Georgia Department of Transportation and the 511 Georgia trademarks or logos in any manner without prior written permission. Access and Correction

The 511GA website provides the ability for My511 Services registered users to correct and/or delete their own information online through the Manage Account tool within My511 Services. Individuals also have a right to access their personal information that is held within the 511GA website system.

Privacy Statement Changes

We will use personal information in accordance with the Privacy Statement in effect at the time the information was collected. Registered Users of the My511 Services will be notified of any changes to this Privacy Statement using the email address on file. If at some point we would like to start using your personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will first seek your consent.

SMS Services

Our SMS notification service will be sending text messages to your mobile phone containing traveler information based on your notification preferences. When users decide to opt-in to the service, they will receive a SMS message to confirm consent to receive SMS notifications. SMS notifications can be cancelled at any time by responding "STOP” to opt-out. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent and/or received.
