| Winter Storm Watch (1/30-2/1) | A winter storm watch is in effect for parts of northeast and east central Georgia from Friday evening through Sunday morning(1/30 – 2/1). Snow is possible in the watch area, with up to 2 inches expected, which may lead to slick road conditions. Outside the watch area, including metro Atlanta, light snowfall could impact travel due to below freezing ground temperatures. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and check 511 for roadway conditions before traveling. Visit NWS for additional information throughout the weekend. |
